Camera App Zoom
Adobe Lightroom’s beta camera application, available for iPhone 13 Pro and later, integrates computational photography features directly into the camera capture interface. Rather than requiring post-processing adjustments in editing software, the app applies image processing at the moment of capture, leveraging the advanced processing capabilities built into recent iPhone models.
Computational Photography Features
The app includes three primary computational photography tools. Zoom functionality allows users to capture images at various focal lengths with enhanced detail. Night mode improves low-light photography through computational enhancement. Reflection removal uses algorithmic processing to reduce or eliminate unwanted reflections in captured images.
Integration with Lightroom Workflow
By performing these adjustments during capture rather than in post-processing, the app streamlines the creative workflow for users working within the Lightroom ecosystem. The processed images integrate directly with Lightroom’s existing editing tools, allowing further refinement if needed. This approach takes advantage of the neural processing capabilities in iPhone 13 Pro and later models to deliver results at the point of capture.
