HSL (Hue)
Hue represents the fundamental color identity or “color” itself, defined by its position (angle) on a color wheel.
The HSL Model
The HSL model is defined by three primary dimensions:
- Saturation: The intensity, purity, or vividness of a color.
- Luminance: The brightness or light intensity of a color.
Implementation in Adobe Lightroom Classic
Using the Color Mixer panel, users can perform targeted color adjustments:
- Allows for independent manipulation of hue, Saturation, and Luminance for specific color ranges.
- Enables precise control over color shifts without affecting the entire image spectrum.
