Image straightening

The process of adjusting the rotation of an image to ensure the Horizon line is level and vertical elements are perpendicular to the frame.

Integral component of Initial Image Preparation in Landscape photography workflows.
Typically performed alongside basic adjustments to Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, and Blacks within Adobe Lightroom Classic or Camera Raw.
Should be completed prior to executing advanced Masking techniques (e.g., “Landscape” masking).
