Single Click Editing is a workflow feature in Lightroom Classic that allows photographers to apply multiple automated AI masks to an image with a single click. Rather than manually creating and adjusting individual masks for different parts of a photograph, users can save and apply preset combinations that automatically isolate specific elements like skies, subjects, or backgrounds. This functionality streamlines repetitive editing tasks, particularly for photographers working with consistent subjects or conditions.
How It Works
The feature operates by combining saved mask presets into a single action. Users first configure the AI masks they need for their typical editing scenario—such as isolating a sky for adjustment, a subject for enhancement, or a background for modification. Once configured to their preference, these mask combinations can be saved as a preset. Future images can then receive the same mask configuration instantly, with the AI adjusting the mask boundaries to fit the new image’s content.
Applications
Single Click Editing is most useful in photography workflows with repeating patterns, such as landscape photography where sky and foreground adjustments are common, or portrait work where consistent subject isolation is needed.
