Digital and Electronic Travel Authorization
In recent decades, many countries have introduced electronic travel authorization systems, often called eVisas or electronic travel permits. These digital documents reduce processing time and allow pre-authorization before arrival at a border. Turkey implements an eVisa system that allows eligible travelers to apply online and receive authorization electronically, rather than obtaining a traditional visa stamp in a physical passport. The eVisa system streamlines border procedures while maintaining security verification protocols.
