Bec conducted a comprehensive review of the organization’s AI readiness and implementation strategy, evaluating critical infrastructure capacity, technical resources, and governance frameworks necessary for successful AI system deployment. The assessment focused on identifying gaps in the current operational environment that could hinder the scalability and performance of future AI initiatives.

The review identified significant infrastructure limitations that constrain the performance and scalability of AI systems. These limitations encompassed hardware capacity, network bandwidth, and storage capabilities, which were found to be insufficient for supporting large-scale model training and inference workloads. Additionally, technical resource constraints were noted, particularly regarding the availability of specialized engineering talent required to maintain and optimize complex AI pipelines.

A key finding of the assessment was the prevalence of Shadow AI, where employees utilize unauthorized AI tools and services outside of established governance protocols. This practice poses substantial security and compliance risks, including data leakage and inconsistent security standards. The review highlighted the urgent need for a unified governance framework to regulate AI usage, mitigate these risks, and ensure that all AI solutions align with organizational security policies and operational requirements.
