Roo

Roo is an artificial intelligence code editor developed by Amazon. It was introduced as part of the company’s strategic expansion into the AI-assisted development tools market, positioning itself as a competitor to established offerings such as GitHub Copilot and JetBrains’ AI Assistant.

The platform is designed to assist software developers with code generation and editing tasks. By leveraging artificial intelligence, Roo provides intelligent code suggestions and automation capabilities. These features aim to streamline the development workflow and potentially increase coding efficiency.
